      The Research Manager is appointed by the Vice President for Research and related matters for a tenureof one year.
       During his tenure he has several important responsibilities.

   
- Arranging and developing relations between research groups of the university and the Vice President for Research.
- Recommendations and other view points pertaining to the procurement of research funds  for the various faculties.
- Accepting the proposals from academic members  and presenting them to the research council for approval.
- Programming and coordinating scientific seminars and other conventions at the university.
- The manager makes the necessary arrangements for inviting the university's academics to discuss the approved
  proposal.
- Close cooperation with academic members and post graduate students for presentation of their papers or
  attendance of the seminars.
- Investigating the status of scientific and research possibilities of the university.
- Overall supervision of all research programs and presentation of progress reports to the university research council.
- Review of general problems and recommendation for solutions acquired through experience from academic specialists
  to the Research Council.
- General supervision over correct use of the equipment being utilized for research, and on procurement of the
  required equipment and apparatus.
- Organization of the information bank for researchers and presentation of the research results to the Research
  Council for their approval.
